NIKO STS LUFT B STEEL CHIMNEY SYSTEM


NIKO STS LUFT B is a concentric double-walled (pipe in pipe) chimney system designed to conduct fumes from boilers with close combustion chamber (condensing, turbo boilers) operating in overpressure up to 200Pa. Therefore NIKO STS LUFT B chimney system must be tight due to wet operation of condensing boilers. Inner pipe is used to conduct fumes while space between outer and inner pipe ensures intake of fresh air from the outside to condensing boiler.

In this case fumes are removed from condensing boilers over the roof of the building or, under certain conditions, trough the wall of the building.
It is necessary to use a gasket on each joint to ensure absolute tightness of the system.

The simplest variant of use of NIKO STS LUFT B chimney system is a fume exhaust and fresh air intake needed for combustion directly trough the external wall (fig. 1).

The second variant of use allows to conduct fumes from condensing boilers as well as fresh air intake over the roof of the building (fig. 2)

The third variant is a combination of horizontal concentric chimney NIKO STS LUFT B with external, insulated NIKO STS LUFT chimney system (fig. 3)

The fourth variant is a combination of horizontal concentric chimney NIKO STS LUFT B with single walled NIKO STS KONDI B chimney system (fig. 4).

Chimney-sweep recommendation must be followed during assembly. Only plastic or stainless steel tools can be used for chimney cleaning.
